Peter purchased the company in 2002. He has been married to his wife Lisa for more than 35 years and has three grown sons. His faith is very important to him. Peter enjoys spending time with his family, golfing, reading, water recreation and working with great people at SWIS.

Her best skills she brings are her attention to customer service and her care for the team.

“To live life, one must be adaptable and adjustable.”

The best skills that he brings to the job are his interpersonal skills, managing skills and vast knowledge of the industry. Ronald enjoys spending time with his family on his free time.

Jackie is extremely personable, creating a welcoming, intentional, and loving atmosphere in the office. Her love for helping others is very apparent in every phone call she takes.

Jackie and her whole family love sports! When she is not at work you can find her hanging with her kids and husband.

Linda joined our team with over 25 years of experience in the building materials industry.  She’s passionate about helping her customers.  When she’s not working, she’s watching the Food Network and cooking for her friends and loved ones.  Unfortunately for her husband, Linda hasn’t met a cat she hasn’t wanted to adopt.

“Water”

Bailey has been a customer service representative at Southwest Irrigation since April 2024. She has been a great asset to our team with her friendly and personable attitude. Bailey is a twin and enjoys spending time with her husband, family, and three dogs when she is not at work.

Amy joined the team in February 2024. She has proven to be a valuable asset with her excellent customer service skills. Amy is ambitious, honest, and respectful. On weekends, you can find her spending time with her family or at church. She is a mother of two and is from Chicago.

Merilyn recently joined the SWIS team in 2023. Merilyn is a current student at the University of Houston, studying to get her degree in marketing.  With being a student, she is constantly learning, while bringing her marketing skills to SWIS.  In her free time, she enjoys trying new restaurants, spending time with family, and doing hot yoga.

Dena’s best skills are problem solving and being a team player. Dena enjoys traveling and hanging out with friends and family.

“It’s your choice to have a good day or not.”

The best skills that Brad brings to the job is his knowledge of irrigation, his interpersonal skills and professionalism.

The best skills Will brings to each job is the knowledge and expertise in the many installs he has done over the years. He enjoys spending time with his family and cats.

Jesus is a former Marine that served 4 years for our country. Jesus displays hard work, and willingness to help others always! In his spare time, he enjoys running 5 miles a day.

Ed will bring consistency and dedication to every job. In his free time, he likes to play Xbox and watch the Cowboys.

Kristen joined our team in March 2025. A fun fact about her is that she owns her own photography business. When she’s not working, Kristen enjoys spending time with her family and traveling. She is committed to providing the best customer service to all of our clients.

The best skills Miguel brings are his perseverance and that he is always calm.

Michael’s best skills are his ambition, strong mentality, and ability to have pleasant and fun conversation with anyone he meets. During his free time, Michael enjoys fishing, hunting, and dancing to music.

“Every day is a second chance.”

Brian is kind to everyone he meets and brings outstanding detail to every job he performs. Brian is happiest when he is spending time outdoors with family and friends.

“Work hard, play harder.”

Garrett is a wonderful young man who has great organizational skills, patience, and a true, deep care of doing what is right for others. He has a great work ethic to go along with these skills that make him top notch in problem solving and listening. Garrett played baseball through high school and the at the college level and is very proud of his accomplishments. When he’s not working, he loves to hang out with friends!

Mikey joined our team in 2023 as a dedicated technician. Mikey is a Veteran and has been serving in our National Guard since 2016. His exceptional compassion and empathetic nature have been a great asset to our team. He is also a family man who devotes his free time to creating memories with his loved ones.

This young man has been a great addition to SWIS. His greatest strengths are paying great attention to detail, and he brings a can-do attitude to every situation.

Rogelio enjoys the outdoors. He loves gardening and the learning about plants.

In his spare time, he likes to play games, fishing, painting, and reading.

Adrian joined our team in early 2022 and has been a great asset to first and foremost our SWIS customers and the SWIS team! He has served our country well through the armed forces for 4 years and has a can-do, never give up attitude in all situations. His work ethic and great communication skills are impeccable. In his free time, he loves to research and talk about cars and engines. One of his favorite things to do is bring his vehicle to the drag strip and take joy rides.

“Tough time don’t last but tough people do.” 

Grady has phenomenal listening and communication skills that he will bring to every job.  He’s a hardworking young man that brings a high quality of work with his great mechanical skills and problem solving. When he is not at work, he loves spending time with his family.

Morgan joined the SWIS team in early 2023. He is an Eagle Ranked Scout and graduated Magna cum Laude with a bachelor’s in political science. Morgan enjoys meeting new people every day and solving new challenges. In his spare time, he loves to study history and play video games.

Joe has been working with Southwest Irrigation as a technician’s assistant during summer breaks for a few years. He officially, became a technician in December of 2023. With starting at a young age, Joe has proved himself to be hard working and efficient. When Joe isn’t working, he enjoys spending time with his family and building Legos.

Jeremiah is excellent at setting his mind to a task and consistently seeing it through. He wakes up early and hits the ground running demonstrating his fantastic work ethic. During his free time, Jeremiah enjoys riding motorcycles, playing guitar, and helping with the youth group.

“1% Better Everyday is the Goal” – Curtis

Curtis has been with our team since November 2023. He enjoys playing basketball and spending time with his kids. Curtis is passionate about his role at SWIS and demonstrates excellent leadership qualities. On a typical day, you’ll find him working out, working, and watching sports. A fun fact about Curtis is that he loves to dance and listen to country music.

Jahaziel joined the team in February of 2024. He excels in communication and has outstanding people skills. When he’s not working, he enjoys playing games or spending time with family. Before work, you can find him enjoying a nice cup of coffee outside.

Garrett joined the team in July of 2024. He holds a master’s degree in Kinesiology and approaches his projects with an open mind. He starts each morning with a cup of coffee, and when he’s not working, you can find him playing golf or watching sports.

DaTavian has been working as a technician during the summers since 2021. Outside of work, he enjoys staying active through workouts and participating in sports. He’s a talented baseball player and values spending quality time with his family. With every customer, DaTavian strives to make a personal connection and takes the time to genuinely listen to their concerns.

DeShannon joined the SWIS team in 2023. When not at work, DeShannon spends his time mentoring youth and contributing to the community. DeShannon is a devout man of faith and is dedicated to being the best person he can be in the workplace. He brings lightheartedness to our team with his sense of humor and jokes. He has enjoyed watching his children develop into strong adults and hopes to positively impact the lives of the youth.
